Workday, December 17th 2017

Despite the drizzle, 22 Friends and Welsh Baccalaureate pupils turned up at the workday.
One group tackled Rhydypenau meadows; all 13 fruit trees in the orchard are doing well and will benefit from being freed from the brambles and bracken.
The other group tackled the path and it was left distinctly wider when they finished.
It was also an opportunity to share some welsh cakes and drinks (mulled wine for the older workers!),
and to thank Kevin, our Ranger, for his hard work and patience during this year. We have many plans for next year but will take a well earned break until the New Year.
Thank you to all those who have supported the Friends this year and congratulatiions to the pupils who have now completed their Community Volunteering hours.
